dotfiles – Personalized, Reproducible Nix macOS Setup
Maintainer (Personalized Fork, Open Source) · Jul 2026 – present
A personal, one-command reproducible macOS setup built on Nix (nix-darwin + home-manager) — a personalized fork of a shared open-source dotfiles framework, extended with my own packages, tools, and multi-agent AI configuration.

Contributions
- Forked a shared Nix-based dotfiles framework (kunchenguid/dotfiles) and personalized it into a fully reproducible macOS setup: one command restores system settings, Homebrew apps, and Nix packages.
- Configured shell (zsh/Starship), editor (Neovim), and terminal (WezTerm) as a coherent, version-controlled personal environment.
- Maintained shared agent configuration across multiple AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode) so tooling stays consistent machine-wide.
- Tracked and merged upstream changes from the original framework while layering on personal packages, tool choices, and settings.
- Public on GitHub (Jin-HoMLee/dotfiles), MIT No Attribution licensed.
Outcome
A working, one-command reproducible personal macOS setup — a personalized fork of a shared dotfiles framework, kept current with my own machine, packages, and agent tooling.
